State ordered to produce Miguna in court at 2pm

High Court judge Luka Kimaru has ordered that self-declared NRM general Miguna Miguna be produced in court at 2pm.

The judge has also summoned the Inspector General of police and Directorate of Criminal Investigations to show cause why they should not be cited for contempt, for failing to comply with orders issued last Friday regarding his release on bond.

Mr Miguna was held in police cells over the weekend despite a court order on Friday allowing his release on a cash bail.
