Mechanical Technician – (HVAC and Compressed Air)

Our client, the largest Commercial Real Estate Service & Investment Firm offering facilities management to large multinational are looking to a recruit a Mechanical Technician. The successful candidate is required to ensure an effective, safe and reliable supply of HVCA, Compressed Air and other mechanical systems by applying best practice. He /She will be required to have HANDS-ON practical experience in HVAC systems, Air conditioning and refrigeration systems including solar water heaters.

Key Responsibilities: –

• Responsible for the PPM and reactive maintenance of mechanical plant.
• Troubleshoots, maintains, inspects and repair HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoots, maintain, inspect and repair Air Conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Maintain solar water heaters.
• Maintain hydronic systems and components, reciprocating absorption chillers and cooling towers.
• Maintain and inspect fan, motors, pump and electric controls.
• Execute work orders for maintenance, repair and testing of HVAC equipment.
• Relieve electrical technician.
• Diagnose faults.
• Daily inspection of maintenance plant.
• Oversee sub-contractor service and performance.
• Ensure compliance with all EHS legislation and client regulations.
• Maintain asset records.

Qualification:

• Must have a Higher Diploma in Maintenance Engineering.
• Must have a background working for manufacturing plant or hospitality sector.
• Must have 5 years working in management level.
• Must have a background in HSE standards and regulations.
• Must have a technical background.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be willing to work in high paced environment.
