Are you an experienced housekeeper equipped with knowledge and skills of different housekeeping techniques? Our client is looking to recruit a detail-oriented Housekeeper to be based in Nanyuki. The position’s key objective is to ensure the highest possible standards of hygiene and safety within the household. The housekeeper must be able to attend to facilities with integrity and attention to detail. The potential candidate must have at least a Diploma in Laundry & housekeeping &/or related field. He/she should be willing to live in Nanyuki. Accommodation will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness.
- Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition.
- Sort, wash and iron laundry.
- Makeup beds and change linens as required.
- Monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements.
- Running errands and performing necessary tasks.
- Handling household administrative duties.
Qualifications:
- Must have at least a Diploma in Laundry & housekeeping &/or related field.
- Must have at least 5 years working experience as a housekeeping.
- Must possess good inventory management skills.
- Must possess good communication skills.
- Must have worked in a multicultural environment.
- Must be able to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
- Must be able to work quickly without compromising on quality.
