Finance Manager – Financial Services.

A dynamic Fintech Company providing credit services to SME’s is currently seeking to recruit a Finance Manager who will contribute to the overall success of the organization by effectively managing all financial tasks for the organization. The ideal candidate Must have prior experience working in a Financial Institution.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Strategic Financial Management and Financial Reporting to IFRS standard.
• Modelling and budgeting for unsecured lending business.
• Full budgeting, cashflow, P&L management and Financial Reporting of Management Accounts.
• Preparation of accounts for Tax & Audit.
• Operational lead for Business unit financial administration and budget controls.
• Lead Management and control of M-Pesa and other e-money systems.
• Analyze future and current financial status.
• Manage financial report systems, accounting and collection procedures and make recommendation.
• Oversee the flow of cash and financial instruments.
• Prepare financial and regulatory reports.
• Oversee daily reconciliations of disbursement, collections and arrears management.
• Retaining records of all legal agreements and contracts.
• Liaising with Group Finance Team about cash requirements & monthly drawdowns as required.
• Reconciliations of all key accounts such as Bank, Debtors control, Fees, Third Parties and Contractors.
• Provide required operational finance information on controls to both Auditors and Group Finance.
• Set up and provide reports on key financial indicators as required.

Qualifications:

• Must have a financial management post graduate qualification.
• Postgraduate degree in Finance would be an added advantage.
• Must have a CPA K / ACCA with at least 5 years at senior financial position.
• Must have prior experience in a Financial Institution.
• Experience with initiating and leading improvement programmes, strategic plans and overseeing change.
• Must be proficient in Sage Pastel.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
• Must have an Impeccable integrity and diligence.
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully under pressure.
