Our client, a leading and well-established Meat processing & Food distribution company is looking to recruit a Key Account Manager based in Nairobi. The ideal candidate Must have a wealth of experience handling key accounts and cold chain management. He/ She MUST be a natural leader with an excellent track recording managing a dynamic team across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, retain and grow existing customer base and drive business growth through business planning.
- Manage select key accounts.
- Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge and understanding of principals’ product portfolio
- Identify business development opportunities in existing and new product lines to expand the business
- Consistently meet or exceed established sales targets.
- Provide technical, market and strategy support.
- Create and introduce innovative market solutions for established and new product portfolios.
- Develop supply chain strategies and manage existing delivery agreements.
- Establish, promote and maintain strong relationships between the company and the customer base.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- At least 4 years relevant experience.
- Must have knowledge on supply chain management.
- Successful key account management.
- Good leadership, managerial and communication skills
- Attention to detail and results oriented.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
