Our client a technology-based courier company is looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing person. The ideal candidate will be a well presented outgoing individual responsible for assisting with maintaining new business and generation of new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and coordinating sales and associated marketing activities for the business to include CRM and social media management. He/she must have at least 4 years’ experience in sales & marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to queries, handling inbound sales calls.
- Contacting potential clients.
- Maintaining company files and data via CRM software.
- Market mapping, identifying contacts for the sales team, making appointments for customer visits.
- Research and propose ideas for new lead generation opportunities.
- Bringing new business on board.
- Building a strong working relationship with the Field Sales Team, producing quotations, documents and letters when required.
- Coming up with ideas to market the company successfully.
- Planning, implementing and monitoring the company’s Communication and Social Media strategy to increase brand awareness.
- Assisting with promotional materials, presentations and events.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Business Management.
- Highly organized, thorough and with great attention to detail.
- Out-going and confident, with the capability to interact with customers and influence purchasing decisions.
- A highly motivated and driven individual not concerned to pick up the phone and build relationships.
- A commitment to uncompromisingly high standards and excellent quality.
- Strong copy, IT and Social media competencies.
- Fast learner and a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- A proactive problem-solver and decision-maker who is happy to work independently.
