Our client, a start-up company that focuses on Animal Nutrition and Feeds across the country, is looking to recruit a Sales Representative to support the local operation. The successful candidate MUST come from an agriculture background with experience in the distribution of feed mills through working closely with distributors/wholesalers, grow sales targets and train customers. He/she must be comfortable working in any region allocated across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit & develop new customers in the given territory & grow sales target.
- Train the customer & his/her staff for continual development.
- Work closely with the distributors/wholesalers to build the 2nd tier customers.
- Coordinate promotion activities.
- Monitor competitors’ trade activities & trading terms.
- Manage customer / product complaints to ensure closer.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports & attend monthly sales meetings.
Qualification:
- Must have a diploma or degree in a Business related field.
- Must have a minimum of two years working with distributors and stockists.
- Candidates with a background in Agriculture or feed-mills will have a distinct advantage.
- Must be willing to work in a region allocated.
- Must be a natural salesperson with a keen eye to achieve targets.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A natural negotiator with a good commercial background.
- Excellent organisation skills & a good planner.
