Dean – School of Architecture & Design (Kuwait).

Our client, a newly established International college in Kuwait offering American style education, degrees and majors is looking to recruit a Dean –School of Architecture & Design. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising all aspects of the school of Architecture and Design. Must currently be Professor/Associate Professor.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising full time and adjunct faculty.
• Managing all degree programs within the school.
• Supervising Course Scheduling.
• Overseeing Curriculum Development
• Course and Degree Program Assessment.
• Supervising website maintenance for the School.
• Overseeing searches for new and replacement positions.
• Overseeing Budget for the School.
• Promotion of research and Scholarship.
• Maintaining the Business Advisory Committee for the school.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Terminal degree in a relevant academic field from a reputable university.
• Documented record of administrative leadership experience.
• Must have at least of five years of teaching and research at a higher education institute.
• Current academic rank of Professor/Associate Professor.
• Demonstrated record of collaborative decision-making.
• Have experience in a multicultural and multi-linguistic environment
• Demonstrated experience with budget management.
• An entrepreneurial spirit.
