Exiled lawyer Miguna Miguna on Sunday, October 2, 2022, revealed when he will cease attacking Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga. Dr Miguna, who supported President Dr William Ruto on August 9, 2022, General Elections said that he will only stop the attacks he launched against Mr Odinga in 2018 if he stops attacking the Judiciary and the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC). “The day Mr Odinga will stop unjustified wanton attacks on the IEBC and the Supreme Court, I will stop deconstructing their nonsense. However, for as long as they continue with those useless press conferences and retrogressive statements, I will keep firing,” said Dr Miguna. Also, the Supreme Court of Kenya under the leadership of Chief Justice Martha Koome dismissed his case in court. Mr Odinga had moved to the Supreme Court arguing that the election was not conducted in a free and fair manner by the electoral agency IEBC which is chaired by Mr Wafula Chebukati. “He has not accepted that the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) and former President Uhuru Kenyatta have gone forever. The sooner he does the better,” he said. Dr Miguna a former ally of Mr Odinga is expected to jet into the country on October 20, 22, after he was handed a Kenyan passport following orders issued by President Dr Ruto. Currently, Kenyans of goodwill have decided to fundraise for Dr Miguna to facilitate his homecoming after being away for five years. He said that he had stayed for over 1687 days without the important document which was confiscated from him by Government officials in 2018. “President Dr William Ruto has had a new passport delivered to me. Waiting for the lifting of red alerts,” he said in the post.
