Gor Mahia top fan Jared Otieno Obonyo known by his street moniker Jaro Soja has found himself in a defensive position for expressing his die-hard love for Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. The reason why Jaro Soja is in a tight corner over his love for DP Gachagua a.k.a Riggy G is that he was an ardent supporter of Azimio Presidential candidate Raila Odinga in the last general election. Being an ODM diehard, Jaro also actively campaigned for Governor James Orengo, facing stiff competition from former Rarieda legislator Nicholas Gumbo in Siaya County. Jaro found himself on the receiving end from Azimio enthusiasts who felt he was stooping too low to get a job with the Kenya Kwanza government. Others wondered why he couldn't engage Orengo, who he campaigned for, to find for him something in the Siaya County Government instead of dining with the 'enemy' just because Mr. Odinga lost in the August 9 presidential elections.
