Former President Uhuru Kenyatta has hit back at his critics saying he is not bothered by what they say about him. The former head of state spoke on Tuesday after visiting the family of the late former Cabinet Secretary of Education Prof George Magoha. "Don't worry about these people who are making noise, people who have nothing else to do will always make noise. That's life. We'll mind our business," Mr Kenyatta said. Also present at the event was former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i. While eulogizing Prof Magoha, the former Head of State lauded the deceased Cabinet Secretary for bringing integrity to national examinations. "This man was a man of his words. He talked less but established great things. He talked little but was full of execution," Mr Kenyatta said, adding that Prof Magoha has left a huge gap in the education sector. Mr Kenyatta also praised Prof Magoha for ensuring a 100 per cent transition of primary school learners to secondary school. "He was seen regularly moving from house to house in the slums to ensure pupils who completed primary education joined secondary schools. He is not one who would sit in an office and fold his arm. He was in the field all the time," Mr Kenyatta said. Also read: Raila – Why elections and democracies are failing in Africa
