Our client, a leading Kenyan Interior Design and Construction Company, is looking to recruit a Receptionist. The ideal candidate must have experience working in a front office. He/She must have excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome clients.
  • Direct clients to the appropriate person and office.
  • Answer, screen & forward incoming calls.
  • Ensure reception area and showroom is always tidy and presentable with all necessary stationery and material.
  • Receive, sort & distribute daily mail.
  • Maintain office security by following office safety procedures & controlling access via the reception desk.
  • Order stationery and keep inventory of stock.
  • Schedule meetings for the C.E.O.
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing and photocopying.
  • Register and issue all cheques.

Qualification:

  • Must have a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Front Office.
  • Must have hands on experience with office equipment such as computer, switchboard and photocopier.
  • Must have professional appearance and attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills.
  • Multitasking and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Must have Customer Service attitude.
