Our client, a leading Kenyan Interior Design and Construction Company, is looking to recruit a Receptionist. The ideal candidate must have experience working in a front office. He/She must have excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients.
- Direct clients to the appropriate person and office.
- Answer, screen & forward incoming calls.
- Ensure reception area and showroom is always tidy and presentable with all necessary stationery and material.
- Receive, sort & distribute daily mail.
- Maintain office security by following office safety procedures & controlling access via the reception desk.
- Order stationery and keep inventory of stock.
- Schedule meetings for the C.E.O.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing and photocopying.
- Register and issue all cheques.
Qualification:
- Must have a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Front Office.
- Must have hands on experience with office equipment such as computer, switchboard and photocopier.
- Must have professional appearance and attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Must have excellent organizational skills.
- Multitasking and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Must have Customer Service attitude.
