Our client, a very high-end Safari Touring Group, is looking for a Sales Consultant with a good knowledge of the luxury and niche market within The Greater East Africa. The successful candidate must demonstrate ability to accurately and in a timely manner deal with a large volume of inquiries. An understanding of a sales pipeline is an advantage though not necessary. Experience in the Touring industry is a MUST!
Responsibilities:
- Handling any inquiries sent to them in a polite, professional, accurate and timely manner.
- Responding to any inquiries on the same day as receiving them.
- Inputting the inquiries correctly into all systems i.e. the CRM, ResRequest and Tour Costing Software, accuracy is key.
- Dealing with both direct and agent enquires and always acting with the companies best interests in mind.
- Building positive relationships with clients and suppliers alike.
- Ensuring all payments for their bookings are collected on time.
- Working with the team and assisting with day to day needs of the company as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry and handling tours.
- Excellent Communications skills – both verbal and written.
- Excellent knowledge of the high end East Africa Touring market.
- Understanding of a Sales Pipeline.
- Experience working with Resquest and Tour Costing Software.
